Michel Guérard (27 March 1933 – 19 August 2024) was probably one of the most influential French chefs. He was one of the founders of the Nouvelle Cuisine (basically the style of cooking with a minimum of butter, eggs and cream) and the inventor of the Cuisine Minceur: the slimming kitchen.
